Flag a Hollow Symbol?

Want to see what you (Employers) are up against or even employees in battling the Employee No Choice Act? Read my spin below (Blog March 10) and then read the American Rights at Work website (http://www.americanrightsatwork.org) spin (“Flag a Hollow Symbol at the NLRB“) on the NLRB’s new policy to fly the U.S. flag at all agency-conducted representational elections.

Via a chart (above) comparing Union Representation Elections vs. Federal Elections…the website says, “In reality, NLRB elections bear no resemblance to political elections, and fall alarmingly short of the democratic process Americans envision when we use the term “election.” The following chart makes it clear that NLRB elections are undemocratic.”

Well, here I was just thinking that flying the United States of American flag was a good thing. What the hell was I thinking? Every issue has two sides, be prepared to give your supervisors and your employees all the information they need to make an “educated” decision because you can believe organizations like this one and unions are going to make every effort to push their side…
